Token Not Showing in Wallet

Your newly created Solana token doesn't appear in Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack wallet? Here's how to fix it.

Your newly created token does not appear in your Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack wallet.

Quick Solution

In Phantom, tap the search icon in your token list and paste your token's mint address to manually add it. Most wallets auto-detect new tokens, but there can be a delay of a few minutes.

Why Your Token Is Not Showing

Most wallets auto-detect new tokens, but there can be a delay of several minutes. Common reasons:

  • Wallets cache token lists and may need a few minutes to refresh
  • Some wallets require you to search and add new tokens
  • You may be viewing devnet while your token is on mainnet (or vice versa)
  • The creation transaction may not have completed successfully

How to Fix — Phantom

1. Open Phantom wallet

2. Tap the search/magnifying glass icon in your token list

3. Paste your token's mint address

4. Your token should appear — tap to add it

How to Fix — Solflare

1. Open Solflare wallet

2. Click "Add Token" or the + icon

3. Paste your token's mint address

4. Confirm to add

How to Fix — Backpack

1. Open Backpack wallet

2. Navigate to your token list

3. Search by mint address

4. Add the token manually

Verifying Your Token Exists

Search your token's mint address on Solscan.io or Solana Explorer. If it appears there, the token was created successfully. If not, check your wallet's transaction history — the creation transaction may have failed.

Still Not Working?

  • Ensure your wallet is connected to the correct network (mainnet-beta)
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet
  • Clear your wallet's cache or restart the app
  • Check that you have SOL in the same wallet that created the token
