Creating a token on SolTokenCreator.io costs 0.5 SOL plus a small amount of Solana network gas. That is a service fee rather than a blockchain fee, and it covers the mint account and its rent, minting your full supply to your wallet, on-chain Metaplex metadata, and permanent IPFS hosting of your logo and metadata via Pinata. Authority revocations are 0.1 SOL each.

No. The 0.5 SOL fee covers everything needed for token creation, and it is charged inside the same transaction that mints your token — so if the transaction fails, you are not charged. Market ID creation (2 SOL) and liquidity pool setup are separate optional steps, priced up front.

For token creation only, you need approximately 0.6 SOL (0.5 SOL fee + gas and account rent). For a full launch with a Raydium pool, budget roughly 0.9-1.6 SOL plus your desired liquidity amount (CPMM ~0.2 SOL, AMM V4 ~0.94 SOL, its required market included free either way). Only budget for our separate, standalone Market ID product (2 SOL plus at least ~0.30 SOL more in its own on-chain rent) if you need a market to use somewhere other than this site's own pool tool.

Several creators do charge less for creation alone — Tokenry is 0.15 SOL and CreateMyCoin is 0.3 SOL, both verified 2026-08-27 and both including authority revocations we charge separately — and if the entry price is your only criterion, those are real options. The 0.5 SOL here buys a complete launch path rather than just a mint: creation, authority revocation, Openbook Market IDs, Raydium, Meteora and Orca pools, LP burning and liquidity removal all run from one wallet session, so you are not stitching four tools together mid-launch. The fee is also atomic with the mint, so a failed transaction costs you nothing, and your metadata is pinned to IPFS so it never stops resolving.

Revoking mint authority or freeze authority costs 0.1 SOL each. These are optional — you can retain authority if needed for your project.

Creating a Raydium pool has its own real on-chain cost, and CPMM and AMM V4 are not the same: CPMM is roughly 0.2 SOL (network rent plus Raydium's own protocol fee), AMM V4 is roughly 0.94 SOL (it also builds the pool's required OpenBook market in the same transaction). Neither figure includes the SOL and tokens you deposit as liquidity — that amount is up to you and depends on your token's launch strategy.
