Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about creating tokens, setting up liquidity pools, and launching on Solana.
Token Creation
SolTokenCreator.io is a user-friendly platform that enables you to easily create and manage your own tokens on the Solana blockchain. Whether you're looking to launch a utility token, a meme coin, or need a unique market ID, our tool simplifies the process.
To create a token, simply visit our website, fill in the required fields such as token name, symbol, and total supply, and then choose additional features like mintability or freezability. Once you've configured your settings, you can deploy your token directly on the Solana blockchain.
Creating a token on SolTokenCreator.io costs 0.5 SOL. Revoking mint, freeze, or update authority costs 0.1 SOL each, always as a separate transaction after creation — never bundled into the 0.5 SOL. A Raydium liquidity pool costs approximately 0.19-0.22 SOL for CPMM (no Market ID involved) or approximately 0.94 SOL for AMM V4, which builds its required OpenBook market automatically at no separate charge. A standalone OpenBook Market ID — for a different tool that requires one already exist — is 2 SOL as our platform fee, plus the market's own on-chain rent on top; real minimum wallet balance for that product is about ~2.30 SOL.
Yes, SolTokenCreator.io allows you to configure both mint and freeze authorities for your token.
Absolutely! SolTokenCreator.io is designed to be accessible for everyone, regardless of their technical background. Our platform guides you through each step of the token creation process without the need for any coding.
A Market ID is the OpenBook on-chain order book a Raydium AMM V4 pool is built on — it is not your token's identifier (that's your token's mint address). Our own AMM V4 pool tool builds this market for you automatically as part of pool creation, at no separate charge. We also sell a standalone Market ID for the separate case where you need one to hand to a different interface that requires an existing market — such as Raydium's own official pool-creation flow. If you use a CPMM pool instead, no Market ID is involved at all.
Security is a top priority at SolTokenCreator.io. We recommend following best practices such as safeguarding your private keys, using reputable Solana wallets, and setting appropriate mint and freeze authorities.
If you encounter technical difficulties during token creation, please check our help center or contact our support team directly through our Telegram or Discord channels. We're here to help with any questions.
Some aspects of your token can be updated after creation, such as minting additional tokens if you retained mint authority. However, fundamental characteristics like the token symbol and initial supply are set permanently once created.
To list on a centralized exchange (CEX), you'll need to meet that exchange's own listing criteria and apply through its formal process, providing your token's mint address — Market IDs are an OpenBook/Raydium (decentralized-exchange) concept, not something a CEX asks for. If you want your token trading immediately with no application process, open a Raydium liquidity pool here instead — Jupiter, DEX Screener, and Birdeye pick it up automatically.
Advanced Topics
SPL tokens use Solana's original token program and have maximum compatibility across wallets and DEXs. Token-2022 is the newer standard with advanced features like transfer fees, interest-bearing tokens, and confidential transfers. For most use cases including meme coins, SPL tokens are recommended.
After creating your token: open a liquidity pool directly on SolTokenCreator.io — CPMM (no Market ID involved, ~0.19-0.22 SOL) or AMM V4 (~0.94 SOL, its required OpenBook market built in automatically, no separate Market ID purchase) — then deposit your initial liquidity. A standalone Market ID purchase is only needed if you're building the pool through a different interface that requires an existing market, such as Raydium's own official pool-creation flow.
Revoking mint authority means no one (including you) can ever create more tokens. This is a trust signal to buyers that the supply is permanently fixed. This action is irreversible.
Revoking freeze authority means no one can freeze token accounts. This is required before creating a Raydium liquidity pool and is a trust signal that tokens cannot be frozen in wallets.
Yes, you can test the entire token creation process on Solana devnet for free before deploying to mainnet. This lets you verify all settings before spending real SOL.
Token creation is nearly instant. Once you approve the transaction in your wallet, your token is deployed to the Solana blockchain within seconds. The entire process from filling in details to having a live token takes under 5 minutes.
An OpenBook Market ID is the on-chain order book a Raydium AMM V4 pool trades on — not a general DEX-listing requirement; CPMM pools don't use one at all. Our own AMM V4 pool tool builds one automatically as part of pool creation, included in that tool's ~0.94 SOL cost. We also sell it as a standalone product for handing to a different tool that requires an existing market: 2 SOL as our platform fee, plus the market's own on-chain rent on top (real minimum wallet balance is about ~2.30 SOL).
SolTokenCreator.io includes a built-in token burn feature. Navigate to the Burn Token section, select the tokens you want to burn, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. Burning is irreversible and permanently removes tokens from circulation.
Yes. During token creation, you can add your website URL, Twitter/X handle, Telegram group, and Discord server. These are stored as on-chain metadata and displayed across Solana explorers and DEXs.
We support all Solana Wallet Adapter compatible wallets including Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, Ledger, Torus, and more. Any wallet that supports the Solana Wallet Standard will work.
