Help & Troubleshooting
Token Flagged as Scam
Your token is flagged as a potential scam on DexScreener, Birdeye, or RugCheck? Learn what triggers flags and how to fix them.
Problem
Your token is flagged as a potential scam on DexScreener, Birdeye, or RugCheck.
Quick Solution
Common triggers include active mint authority, active freeze authority, unburned LP, and high holder concentration. Address each flag to improve your trust score.
What Triggers Scam Flags
Analytics tools like RugCheck, DexScreener, and Birdeye analyze tokens for risk factors. Common flags:
- Creator can mint unlimited tokens (dilution risk)
- Creator can freeze wallets (honeypot risk)
- Creator can remove liquidity (rug pull risk)
- One wallet holds too many tokens
- Multiple buys in the same block as pool creation
- No website, Twitter, or Telegram linked
How to Fix Each Flag
Revoke Mint Authority
Go to SolTokenCreator.io and revoke mint authority. This permanently fixes the supply. RugCheck score improves immediately.
Revoke Freeze Authority
Revoke freeze authority to prove you cannot freeze holder wallets. Cost: 0.1 SOL.
Burn LP Tokens
Burn your LP tokens to permanently lock liquidity. This proves you cannot remove liquidity (anti-rug). Use Burn & Earn to keep earning trading fees.
Distribute Tokens Widely
If one wallet holds a large percentage, distribute tokens via airdrops or community events to reduce concentration risk.
